At schools of Fe y Alegria, and mainly in the José María Velaz they have been difficulties in reading, math and science among students; besides indicators evaluators as external testing of 2009 show that the appropriate minimum reading level is not achieved; this situation invited Faith and Joy to worry about this educational phenomenon; by which it was generated from the system to improve the quality of movement, a process of inquiry until it is concluded that this phenomenon is going to fight from the various strategies and within their system of participation was allowed each center will select a it was forceful strategy to exit this educational situation, always from an integral education.
District Educational Institution Fe and Alegria Jose Maria Velaz of the town 11 Suba, began a process of inquiry to understand what strategy might be closer to the educational context and motivating toward reading, mathematics and science, so they designed a workshop where teachers and students chose the strategies that motivate toward reading, mathematics and
science and education community and chose the EPC (Teaching for compression) to increase and improve the outcome of the years before 2009.
The sample taken was the Ninth Grade Secondary School in 2014 was the group that was applied ninth Test Saber; hence it arises to develop research, which is to understand how teaching Compression strategy has impacted on the results of the assessment by the ICFES, Saber ninth in Tests and processing of information, which has a quantitative guidance and qualitative. A sample of sixty-four (64) students, two courses of Secondary Basic ninth last year, was taken today in tenth. The techniques and instruments to collect information for students are the external evidence "Knowing Noveno- ICFES" made between 2009 and 2014; in tests last year were diagnosed or perceived yet there is a valuation situation where the motivation to reading, mathematics and science
that has been generated in the last year on them and see how it has impacted the implementation of the strategy over the last four years of launching the EPC in the institution. Depending on the results seen in the previous year, an instrument which can explain or verify the strengths and the weaknesses in the EPC in that institution and how to move forward in a quality education from this strategy will be designed and thus continue to maintain motivated students to use reading as a fundamental tool of learning in the areas of English language, mathematics and science, as a means to reach a critically reflective thought.
